The Consell appoints four new members of the Valencian Foundation for Excellence in Research Board (ValER)

The Plenary of the Consell has approved the appointment of four new members of the board of the Valencian Foundation for Excellence in Research (ValER).
They are the secretario autonómico de Empleo y director general de Labora, Antonio Galvañ; the director general de Universidades, José Antonio Pérez; the directora general of Investigación e Innovación, Mariola Penadés, on behalf of the Conselleria de Sanidad, and the directora general de Presupuestos, Mª Amparo Haro, on behalf of the Conselleria de Hacienda, Economía y Administración Pública.
This completes the renewal of ValER’s highest governing board, whose Honorary Presidency is held by the President of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazón Guixot, and the Presidency by the Conselleria de Educación, Universidades y Empleo, José Antonio Rovira Jover.
Also part of the board are the Subsecretaria de la Conselleria de Educación, Universidades y Empleo, Alida Mas Taberner; the secretaria autonómica de Universidades, Maria Esther Gómez Martín; the director general de Ciencia e Investigación, Rafael Sebastián Aguilar; the Rectora of the Jaume I University of Castellón, Eva Alcón Soler; the executive president de la Fundación Valenciana Premios Jaume I, Javier Quesada Ibáñez; the distinguished researcher Avelino Corma and the president of the Confederación Empresarial de la Comunitat Valenciana en Castellón, Luis Martí Bordera.
