The decision of the ValER call will be published on September 1, 2025.
ValER offers EIGHT permanent positions for researchers willing to develop a long-term scientific career in the Valencian Community. Selected candidates will carry out their research in one of the public or non-profit private universities, foundations or non-profit research institutions of the Valencian Community. They are expected to perform independent and collaborative research, and they should be capable of attracting competitive funding and leading their own research lines.
Remuneration
Gross annual remuneration: 80.000 €
Additional funding
- 150.000 € as start-up research funding.
- 5.000 € for international moves of the selected candidates.
Eligible applicants
This call is open to senior leading researchers of any age and nationality, with a minimum of 10 years of postdoctoral experience, outstanding research record, solid research track and international experience.

- Life and Health Sciences.
- Social and Behavioral Sciences.
- Humanities.
A complete proposal consists of the following:
- On-line form.
- Candidate’s CV in English.
- The contact details of four referees and reference letters from at least two of them.
- An Expression of Interest (EOI) from at least one host institution.
